- I am an expert in overcoming obstacles (while having fun and adventures) and making life choices that bring true happiness and prosperity. I am also an expert in learning and experiencing everything later in life than most people. * my first decision at 17 * my first boy-friend at 18 * my first friends at 19 * my first female friend at 32 (I learned about mascara!) * played golf, rode a motor-bike and played drums at 30. * danced at a hip-hop show at 31 with teenagers. * started dancing salsa in mini-skirts at 31 * skim-boarded at 34 * competed in ballroom competitions from 36-39 with kids 20 years younger (I qualified for the senior division). * wind-surfing and surfing at 36. * learned to samba in Rio at 38 and performed in bikini, feathers and high-heels with other 20 year old sambistas in San Francisco. * Started Chinese brush painting at 39 and was exhibiting and teaching 2 years later. * Started ballet at 42 in an intermediate/advanced class with professionals and adult dancers who started ballet when they were kids.
